The Warwick Folk Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary this year with a stella line-up of Folk talent, with an opening night concert on the Thursday headlined by Billy Bragg on the main festival site.
Other acts over the weekend at the Warwick School site include legendary Irish performer Karan Casey, award winning Scottish contemporary folk outfit Breabach and the fusion style of Skerryvore.
Plenty of action on the fringe side of the festival as well including the regular Smith Street party on the Saturday as well as the colourful Festival procession around the town, live music also takes place in the Market Square, as well as performances at the Catalan Tapas Bar and Grill, the Rose and Crown and no doubt many more locations.
Always a fun filled event and plan to make a couple of trips over myself.
