NAPTON FESTIVAL 2016 PREVIEW

Not long to wait now for one of my favourite local musical events The Napton Festival, this year the two day festival takes place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of July on the grounds of Napton Village Hall.

The action starts at 4.00 pm on the Friday which is headlined by top tribute band the Total Stone Roses and also includes sets by Dead Frequency who sound very interesting as billed as glam/punk, young indie rockers The Ellipsis and more acts.

On Saturday the musical action starts nice and early at 11.45 am with another top tribute band as headliners Take That Live and for myself must see bands on day 2 include the awesome folk/celtic rock family threesome Robinson Stone and terrific rockers Grace Solero.

Plenty more on offer on the Saturday including a bit of blues from Greg Coulson and a dose of Americana from the Rosellys as well as the return of the acoustic stage.

As always there will be a large selection of stalls and food/drink outlets and plenty to keep the kids happy.

Always a delightfully friendly festival with a diverse selection of musical styles on offer and aways a cracking weekend which raises money for the very worth while Napton Music Festival Trust.

Above you will find a small selection of my photos from last years festival.
