Birmingham based queen of the blues Rebecca Downes along with her outstanding band visits Leamington Spa's intimate live music venue Temperance (which is no stranger to the blues of course) on Saturday February the 4th.
From the evidence of the two Leamington shows I witnessed when she supported Ben Poole in 2016 and Magnum in 2018 who ever attends is in for a treat, plenty of sass in her power-backed vocals on fine original numbers co-written with band member Steve Birkett.
Belting out her rockers or putting plenty of emotion into her bluesy ballads she always delivers a top quality performance, the evening is billed as a Stripped Back performance which will be ideal in such a cozy venue but have no doubt it will still rock.
