A LOOK AHEAD TO THE NAPTON FESTIVAL 2019 - 5th and 6th of July

Photo gallery

Only just over a week before Napton brings rock and roll (as well as just about every other musical genre!) to life in the grounds of the Napton Village Hall for its annual Music extravaganza.
Once again organised by the Napton Music Festival Trust who as well as supporting musical events in the Parish of Napton make donations to many local charities and good causes and once again a big thank you to the generous donation they made to my charity photo exhibition last October.
Gates open at at 3.00pm on Friday 5th July and 11.00am on Saturday 6th July.
The Friday headliners are Kazabian the number one tribute act to rockers Kasabian, a classic rock set by The Rooters and much more.
I plan to be their with the camera on the Saturday which includes a welcome return for headliners ABBA Chique and their stunning recreation of a classic Abba show and what a performance they delivered back in 2015, and returning from last year with a much deserved higher slot are the colourful Choas with a set full of bouncing anthems from the 70's onwards.
Also looking forward to meeting up with Matilda Pratt, Jo Ash, The Folly Brothers, The Rushmore and The Session, good friends/fine musicians and all performing on the Saturday.
Intrigued by Cydonia Knights and their tribute to Muse (not the easiest sound to recreate) and for a guaranteed good time it is hard to beat the fun and energy of The Jellyheads.
Sure to be a cracker again this year and Saturday pictures for you soon.
