"Articles in Sound" film now online

Many of you will already have sampled parts of the great new "Articles in Sound" history of Coventry & Warwickshire music project, which was created from the Coventry Music Museum by a team led by Pete Chambers BEM and which I have mentioned previously in the magazine. The film aspect (created by Nigel Meffen and Doug McDermott) was launched on July 30th and since then has been available on view at the Museum. However I am pleased to announce that it can now be enjoyed online on its dedicated YouTube channel at

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_faeGaWepFhIg7zqvJt9OQ

which will allow you to savour all its three hours of unique footage & exclusive interviews with key players from the history of the local music scene from the comfort of your own homes etc, complementing the input from the other aspects: the book, free app, website (www.articlesinsound.com) the mural in the Two Tone Village and of course the objects in the Museum itself which form the focus of the project. I hope you enjoy it as much as we in the team do: your feedback on the website would be most welcome.

In addition, Project Leader & Museum Founder, Pete Chambers will be giving a talk at Coventry Central Library on Friday 9th September 1800-1900 about the whole project, to which you are all most welcome.
