Richard Baker at Stratford Jazz

Richard Baker at Stratford Jazz

A top session of elegant grooves, melodic solos and cool tunes gathered from much further afield than the Real Book. A good night too for duelling brass with Richard Baker on the trombone effortlessly trading licks with Alan Wakeman on sax and cooking up some gorgeous moments with the two instruments working in harmony.

A quick shout out for Stratford jazz too. These guys put on two classy acts a month in a sophisticated venue with a great atmosphere.
