Be it jamming on stage with Steve Walwyn and Joanne Shaw Taylor, supporting King King, headlining his own shows at the Zephyr Lounge and Leamington Assembly, rocking up a storm at The Napton Festival or most recently his amazing homecoming gig last August in Shipston on Stour Laurence has impressed and amazed me in equal measure.
On Wed 19th April he brings himself and his knockout band back to Leamington for a show at The Zephyr Lounge for what is bound to be a cracking show as part of his April UK tour which is hot on the tails of a successful trek around Europe.
The multi award winning blues artist now has 4 top quality studio albums to cherry pick from and if we are lucky we may even get his stunning Hendrix cover (not guaranteed but an absolute treat when he adds it to the set).
Expect plenty of roaring, energetic rockers and numbers that showcase his more soulful side and of course oodles of scorching guitar solos and one of the tightest blues bands around.
Off stage along with Steve Walwyn Laurence is one of the nicest, most genuine people I have met in the music business, he always has time for his fans, has charisma in bucket loads deserves all his success and hopefully more.
So looking forward to this one.
