The Wonderful MG Boulter - Clifftown.

News

In 2021 songwriter and musician M G Boulter released his album ‘Clifftown', a collection of story songs charting the characters, personal experiences and hidden histories of his hometown of Southend-on-Sea on the Essex coast. It was the beginning of a project that would encompass not just the album, but a podcast series (The Clifftown Podcast), an invitation to write and present an essay at Melbourne's Emerging Writers Festival and an experimental sounds commission from Southend's Focal Point Gallery; all collected in the Clifftown Sounds Website (https://hudsonrecords.co.uk/s/clifftown-sounds).

[You can see M G Boulter at Temperance, Leamington Spa, on 20 Apr 2023 - tickets available via the link above.]
