Cara Pickering and The Gallery nominated for Kenilworth Worthies business awards

News

We're lucky to have many active music venues in our area. However,  there's a worrying shortage of places with the  vision and courage to host interesting ‘genre' acts with roots in swing, soul, blues and country. One notable exception is The Gallery, a stylish and welcoming bar and art gallery at the glitzy North end of Kenilworth town centre.  With regular appearances from jazzy folk like the Lounge Club, the Jazz Apples and the Gloria Sunset Duo together with acoustic stars such as Jack Hopkinson and Levi Washington and frequent rootsy goodness from outfits such as the Hounds and,Doc Emmet Brown, it has become something of a destination for music lovers keen to explore new sounds and styles.

So we're delighted to hear that both The Gallery and its music-loving co-owner Cara Pickering have been nominated for business awards by Kenilworth Chamber of Trade.  Go on, give them a vote and remind our community that live music enriches our towns!
