'Hot Music Live Presents Volume Thirteen'

News

We are delighted to announce ‘Hot Music Live Presents Volume Thirteen': fourteen more of the finest original songs from Coventry & Warwickshire artists, demonstrating the great diversity of the local music scene.

This collection is dedicated to the memory of Matt Hernández: were it not for his championing of original music evenings locally, I'd never have become involved in writing about local music nor putting these showcases together. Likewise, he assisted & supported many artists who have featured in this series, through offering them opportunities to play their original music before appreciative audiences early in their careers. A virtuoso guitarist (notably, but by no means solely, in flamenco style), we are delighted to feature one of his own songs here.

On this occasion we are sharing with you the following songs:

 "You Steal My Heart": Dirt Road Band

"High": Mos Eisley Bros

"Brother": Luke Concannon & Darius Christian Jones

"Politics Killer": Loophole

"Farruca": Matt Hernández

"A Woman's Work": Karen Killeen-Jones

"Entre Dos Aguas": Manos Puestas

"Brainflood": Ben Monkhouse

"Those Ways": Patch Murphy

"Scratch My Face": GunShock Big Band

"Cable Car": Cross Buzz Safari

"Dead Eyed Nation": The Caroline Bomb

"Headstone": Vertigo Flowers

"आत्महत्या" ["Aatmaghaati"]: Lucifer  Sky
